Golf Cart Inspections

Golf carts are required to be registered and inspected by the Beverly Police Department in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 4501:2-1-01 through 4501:2-1-21 before driving on Village of Beverly streets. [Read the full Golf Cart Ordinance]

 Appointments for inspections must be scheduled in advance by contacting the Beverly Police Department. 

b.) Owner of golf cart must show proof of ownership, via vehicle title or bill of sale, at time of inspection. 

c.) Owner must have proof of liability insurance. 

d.) An inspection fee of $25.00 must be paid with cash, check, or money order, payable to the “Village of Beverly.” 

e.) Failure to have golf cart inspected and registered will result in a $100.00 fine plus court costs. 

Crash/Police Reports

To request a copy of a crash report or other police report, please submit your written request by mail or in person at the police department. To see our address, visit our Contact page. The fee for each report is $5.00.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is done by appointment only. Please call our office at (740) 984-2611 to make appointment.

Report a Crime

Individuals may report any information on a crime or suspicious activity to reportacrime@beverlypd.com  If it is an emergency or in progress, please call 9-1-1.
